Description

Transakt provides two-factor authentication on your mobile phone, protecting you from phishing attacks and other online fraud by uniquely linking your mobile phone to your account (at a bank, for example). The app encrypts all communication between your device and your account provider (e.g. the bank). Multiple accounts from different providers may be added. On installation, the app will request permission to use your mobile’s camera for scanning QR codes. To activate an account in Transakt, you will need to scan a QR code (or enter a sign-up code) given to you by the account provider. Each account provider has their own activation policy, over which Transakt has no control. Please contact the account provider directly should you experience any issues activating an account. Whenever you wish to log in to an account, the app will provide a secure authentication channel between your mobile phone and your account provider using a unique digital certificate placed on your device by Transakt. With a simple tap, you verify your identity and log in securely.

Transact wurde mir von meinem Kartenanbieter sanft aufgezwungen. Ich werde die App testen, langfristig aber eher andere Zahlungsarten (Paypal, LSV etc.) im Internet bevorzugen. Transakt soll Bezahlvorgänge mit Kreditkarten im Internet sicherer machen. Die bisherige Methode mit Passwort bei 3-D-Secure ist aus meiner Sicht nicht unsicherer. Meist trage ich sowohl Kreditkarte als auch Smartphone bei mir, es wird im Falle eines Diebstahls also beides gestohlen und steht dem Dieb somit für Transaktionen zur Verfügung. Das Passwort wäre dagegen immer noch nur in meinem Kopf. Es empfiehlt sich übrigens, die „besonderen Nutzungsbedingungen“ genau anzuschauen. Meines Erachtens wird das Risiko weitestgehend auf den Kunden abgewälzt, denn kaum ein Mensch kann alle genannten Bedingungen einhalten. Ich werde mich beispielsweise hüten, eine neue Betriebssystemversion immer sofort aufzuspielen, wie verlangt. PS: Dies ist nur bedingt eine Bewertung der App, die bei mir erst beim zweiten Aufstarten zuverlässig funktionierte, für Laien nicht verständliche Akronyme enthält (Dies ist Ihre emCertID) und nicht vollständig lokalisiert ist (Generate a unique OTP).

Lidée est bonne mais lactivation initiale est très compliquée, selon moi. Et si on change de téléphone portable, cest évidemment à recommencer. Je comprends que le but est la sécurité, mais la procédure dinscription devrait être plus clairement expliquée. Et on devrait pouvoir tout faire à partir du portable.

Keeps crashing on iOS 7.1

Doesnt even open, please fix it! It was so bad that I couldnt even generate a pass code for LastPass, I had to disable multifactor authentication

I use this app with LastPass and I didnt realize secure authentication could be so smooth! And if you read up on the technology it is amazingly safe and secure!
