This app does not work at all. You can choose languages, but it freezes up each time you hit the translate button.

Advice for further upgrades
I believe this is the start of a great idea for an app, and I am going to use it allot, in travels or in side jobs, as i like to work with tourist. However I do know that someone will always have there favorite or frequently used languages, I would much like to see a frequent used or favorite list added that i can quickly find my languages rather than looking in the list of 52 languages. I tested it out with my little knowledge of 5 languages and it seems to be accurate and pretty quick so I must give congradulation, and thank you very much. If in a further update i get what i want, I will give a 5 star rating, AND give a new revieuw on how handy this app is

I really like this app. It is really helpful.
Disappointing
This program uses Googles translator -- which, in my experience, is poor -- without some basic features. As far as I could tell, it does not allow you to copy and past text into the box to translate. Instead, you have to type everything fresh. If you leave the program temporarily -- for example, to refer back to your source text -- the menu of languages makes you start all over again (from Afrikaans to Afrikaans) without remembering what languages you were working with. A waste of money.
Translator App is a winner!
I set up this app on hubbies IPad2 before he went to Europe and my IPad because I have so many none English speaking friends on Face Book. The translations are very accurate and have added greatly to my enjoyment of social sites.
