Description
TRAPP® is a tool to assess security risks at facilities and provide recommendations for protective measures and risk mitigation. The methods in TRAPP® have been applied world-wide to a full range of infrastructure types. Many users have found that the risk plot (found on the Assessment screen) is effective in communicating risks to non-security managers.
Each TRAPP® analysis is focused on a facility and an attack tactic. Users should remain focused on that facility and tactic during the analysis. Four critical factors (difficulty, ease of access, attractiveness and consequences) are used in the risk assessment. TRAPP-Pro® includes a wider range of methods for the assessment of these four factors. TRAPP® solves and stores multiple cases for later analysis. Images of the screens can be Emailed to an Email address to include in presentations.
TRAPP® is provided for the convenience of users. TRAPP® is the result of decades of experience by our staff in the analysis and mitigation of security risks. TRAPP® has limited capabilities, but TRAPP-Pro® includes:
•Advanced methods to evaluate the four factors affecting risk.
•Definition of tactics applicable to site types.
•Assistance in matching Tactics and Targets.
•Recommendations for specific risk mitigation strategies.
