Description
a tremor is an involuntary shaking or trembling of the hand that can be idiopathic or associated with any of various medical conditions, such as Parkinsons disease or nervous agitation, weakness or hypothermia.
This app is for doctors, medical students, or any other person in the health care or medical research related field, especially psychiatrists and neurologists
- helps with accurately monitoring and documenting hand-tremors of any kind. Can also be used to monitor several levels of nervous agitation or anxiety
- precision realtime normalized frequency analysis from 1 to 16 Hz
- oscilloscope curves of amplitudes of all 3 axis movements (roll, pitch yaw)
- moving average of frequency with highest amplitude, both digital and analog
- moving average of amplitude both digital, analog, and optional sound
- an annotation can be added to the screen like i.e. a patients name
- screenshots can be made for documentation without falsifying the measurements
This app does not use the accelerometer because a tremor of the hand is more of a rotation so it uses the gyroscope which is very sensitive in measuring even the tiniest rotation rates.
It is so sensitive, even the natural occurring tremor from normal healthy people can be measured.
