Description

The Turbu+ service is a support service developed by AstraZeneca for patients diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or Asthma who use TurbuPlus hardware. The Turbu+ service is intended for single-patient use as an electronic data capture system for recording actuations of prescribed Turbuhaler usage. The system generates reminders; based on a patients pre-defined prescription to support the patient in using their Turbuhaler medication and provides patients with real time feedback on their actual medication adherence. This interactive service is designed to enhance self-management of medication adherence and is individually tailored to each patient to provide the right support at the right time. *Note: this app requires an activation code and can only be accessed by patients who are participating in the Turbu+ support service
