Description

TXF Convert is a financial utility that helps people doing their US taxes view their accounting data exported in Tax eXchange Format (TXF) format in a more human readable format. Unlike trying to make sense of the raw TXF export file, TXF Convert quickly reorganizes the data into a spreadsheet format making it easier to view and sort. TXF Convert converts the data to the CSV (comma separated variables) file format that is easily readable by the most common spreadsheets (MS Excel and Numbers). Detailed instructions show you how to open the reorganized data in your preferred spreadsheet. Of course there is support. Many financial applications export TXF files and they can have slight differences in their export files. If for some reason your .TXF export file is a bit non-standard, there is support available to resolve your specific issues.

Conversion of TXF file

ChumWon · 14 years ago

Only converted a small portion of a TXF file exported from Quicken Essential Tax Schedule report. In fact, only one category. Question: Does the problem lie with the Quicken Essential export or TXF Convert.app?

TXF worked well for me.

Before I input a large amount of data like this TXF file into TurboTax, I like to take a look at it to see if there are any errors in the data. I was converting TXF file from Quicken into an XLSX file (EXCEL). I was concerned initially because I saw only the headings, but no data. Then I clicked on the EXCEL icon again to launch EXCEL again, and voila! There it was, data and all.

I ignored the bad reviews and bought this app. Big mistake! Save your money.

Garbage

I want a refund just wasted $5.99. When through all the steps and wanted to see all my data on excel. It converted the file then when it was open in Excel it was just a bunch of jumbled code, random mixed number, and unreadable. Don’t waste your money, wouldn’t be upset if it was free, but a worthless programs.
