From the creators of uBurn LITE, uBurn LITE XL, & uBurn, uBurn Medic uses the same background calculations to provide fast burn care. Why do we do this? The first minutes to hours of burn care are critical and we want you to have fast results at your fingertips.
Weve made uBurn Medic more robust. It utilizes the Lund Browder formula and the latest American Burn Association information to help you provide the best burn care to your patients. It has detailed child information with maintenance fluid information in excess of the required fluid resuscitation as well as burn sizes that change dynamically with age.
There are tons of other new features:
• In App Calling - dial ahead to your local burn or trauma center
• In App Sharing - Email or SMS healthcare professionals the burn information you calculated
• Parkland Calculator - our original Parkland Calculator optimized with the information paramedics need
• References - Our STAT burn care model will help you learn the most important information before you get to your patients
uBurn Medic supports all iOS devices from the first iPhone to the iPhone 4 & iPad 2. For optimal results we recommend iOS4 with an iPhone 3GS or later model.
