Description

Qaida is an interactive application that helps in learning Urdu alphabets. The application consists of: - A Book (to learn) - A game (to test your learning in fun ways). - A writing pad (to practice handwriting). The interactive book uses sounds and pictures to help memorize the alphabets. The sounds help in learning the pronunciation of the letters while pictures help creating a recognition of letters shapes and establish a connection with formation of words and hence support further learning. The game tests the learning progress and makes it fun to read. The writing pad helps in understanding the shapes of letters and how they are written. You can trace on dotted lines to practice writing right on the iPhone/iPod/iPad. While practicing writing, arrows, colors and numbers are used to indicate where to start and where to end. Due to this you will not require help from any one else to learn. Sounds are recorded by an experienced teacher who has first hand experience of teaching young children. Letters and words are pronounced in such a tone that you will start repeating them automatically.
