US Railroad Map shows you train routes and stations in the United States on Google Maps. NOTE: If your app continues to crash, please restart your iPhone or iPod Touch. If restarting doesnt help, please remove the app and download it again from app store. The download will be free if you use the iTunes account that has purchased this app. Very sorry for the inconvenience. == FEATURES == Railway Map: - Display railroads and stations of Amtrak, other transit systems and freight trains in the United States on Google Maps - Tap a station on the map to see its information - Display your current location - Switch map types (standard, satellite, hybrid) Route Search: - Search Amtrak routes by region - Search routes of other transit systems by area Station Search: - Search Amtrak stations by name or state - Search stations of other transit systems by name or area Route Info: - Station list along the route and transfer guidance - Link to the location of the route on Google Maps Station Info: - Route list for the station - Link to the location of the station on Google Maps At this time, coverage of transit system is incomplete for the New York City area.

Useless

Was expecting a full passenger and cargo freight line map.

This app does not show all railroad lines, just passenger lines. Please refund my $.99.

Great Railway Map App

Nice app for rail travel either on Amtrak or rail transit. Ill be Amtraking around the country shortly so Ill be curious to see how this works in my travels. The freight lines need to be a different colour as they are too similar in colour to the highway system. Hard to distinguish freight lines from highways when zoomed in on urban areas. Would be nice to link to Amtrak and city transit for schedules and times. Great app. Fix the freight lines colour issue and five stars.

Not really great for a railfanning tool. Needs a lot more work to identify freight lines. A search tool by general location instead of station would be helpful.

This app could go places

I like this app. It shows the major Amtrak routes on a map. In a future release they could integrate timetables or provide an API to Amtraks site. It also could use improvement identifying freight railroads.

Good Amtrak map.... needs one key feature

Great for seeing all the different Amtrak routes. Couple of suggestions: -PLEASE add the train schedules!!!!! That would make this a 5-star app. -Add real-time train status from amtrak.

This app tells you nothing - theres not that many routes unless your in the city. Use the Amtrak web site!
