Fantastic

I am a semi professional street fighter an this app has been perfect for me I learned some new techniques and was actually able to apply them in my last couple fights resulting in knockouts.

The information in this app is spot on. Unfortunately, it was like they cut and pasted pieces of sentences and paragraphs in different spots, and it was hard to get what they were trying to say. Once you decoded it, though, it was effective, at least for me and my sparring partner. This would be a five star app if I could simply read it and understand, but I found myself caroling back and forth to put sentences together. The organization of the table of contents is wonderful, though. Decent app. Fix the typos and its five stars.

While I really wanted to like this application (as a refresher for training and helping my kids learn some self-defense ideas), the many mistakes in the writeup makes it difficult to find useful. Clearly the developer simply cut/pasted from some other text, with absolutely no proofreading of their work. Paragraphs are horrible garbled, making it a chore to determine what the author was trying to get across. Additionally, on the iPhone 4S at least, one cannot pinch apart on the images to enlarge (or pan and scan). The images with type on them are illegible. Id love to think that the developer would have updated the app by now, having released it last year. Just an hour of proofing his material would remove half of the problems -- wouldnt even require significant effort (unless English is not his first language). And with others, some of the navigation items such as the pugil sticks wont work. I would like my money back. Even just $0.99. If I were a prospective purchaser, I would not buy it at version 1.0.0. Maybe hell release an update and note the problems or bugs he has addressed. Two stars for trying, but not a buy or even hold kind of app.
