Description

Quickly and easily track instances of vaccine refusal. Vaccinations are one of the most important interventions for preventing the spread of several infectious diseases. Refusing recommended vaccinations puts communities at greater risk for outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases. This app enables pediatricians and other health care providers to very quickly document and track instances of vaccine refusal. The app does not collect any sensitive private information. Reporting is simple. Select - vaccine - sex - patient age range - refusal location (zip code only) - refusal reason. The app also provides a map displaying locations of reported refusals, filterable by vaccine type and report date range. No registration/password required, but the app does request that the reporting health care professional provide their name, email address, and occupation. Data collected from the app is securely stored at The University of Iowa.
