VANGUARD STORM is the newest addition to the CRYSTAL DEFENDERS series of "defensive simulation" games. Players must strategically position units within various formations in order to prevent encroaching monster hordes from breaking through the front lines and stealing the armys crystals. VANGUARD STORM employs a real-time turn system. Reading the battlefield and determining optimal locations for each allied unit before the turn counter is spent is crucial for victory. As with CRYSTAL DEFENDERS, VANGUARD STORM also features jobs from the popular FINAL FANTASY Tactics A2. Each job possesses a variety of different traits. Whether engaging in a concentrated attack or a gradual, widespread assault, players must constantly adjust battle formations in order to best take advantage of their units abilities. In addition to jobs geared towards offensive maneuvers, there are also jobs which support or enhance other units. White Mages can restore an injured allys HP, while Bishops can increase a nearby units attack power. Finally, the monsters of VANGUARD STORM come in all different shapes and sizes. Some tread upon the ground, while others attack from the skies. Some even have resistances to certain types of attacks. One important strategy is to recognize these traits and then adjust battle formations accordingly; pitting melee-oriented jobs such as Soldiers against monsters who resist magick, or Archers against aerial enemies.

Après Crystal Chronicles, Square-enix revient à la charge avec un jeu bien sympatique ! Un peu sur le même principe que le précédent, il faut repousser une invasion de monstres grâces à des mercenaires bien connus de la série final fantasy tactics advance. Je lai vraiment préféré au précédent : celui là est plus facile, avec une prise en main rapide et la préparation de larmée limitée dans le temps ce qui influe une petite pointe dadrénaline ! Je le conseilles chaudement, on passe de bons moments avec un soft de qualité (square oblige !)

Je mattendais à plus complexe.ça fait penser au échec avec beaucoup moins de tactique. A quand un bon ff tactics advance! +1 pour la zic vraiment bonne! Encore une  car ya un niveau difficile!

Un grand bravo à SE pour leur 2ème tentative sur lappstore. Un système de jeu très original et intuitif et toujours le bestiaire bien connu de la saga FF. Ce jeu saura contenter tout les amateurs du genre et les fans de la série. Espèrons que la durée de vie tienne le coup car pour linstant, javance plutôt vite.

Pour les amateurs de jeux de defense... Vous allez adoré... Moi aussi! Simplement ca fait 3 fois que je recommance la campagne (et ca devient casse pied) car ce pg perd aléatoirement les sauvegardes! Cest vraiment frustrant, du coup en attendant une mise à jour jy joue plus.

Ce jeu est très prenant au début! Choisir ces unitées, avoir un meilleur score.. Mais il y a la perte de sa sauvegarde et ça, cest vraiment très embêtant..
