Description
Vassily is a casual Bauhaus game, visually inspired by Kandinsky and his theories on the elemental shapes and colors and musically citing Kurt Weill and his contemporaries.
Kandinsky theorized that a sharp color such as yellow would be associated with the triangle and they signify lightness and movement. The circle would be a celestial color such as blue and correspond to calmness and spiritual peace and the an forceful color red is the square and implies agitation and movement.
In parallel with the theory of the elemental shapes and colors, in Vassily you control the yellow triangle by tilting your iPhone and try to collect as many blue circles as you can while trying to avoid the red squares. Try to survive as long as you can and collect as many points as you can as the pace of the game and the music get faster.
The original game music is based on the Bauhaus-era and cites both Kurt Weills musical ideas and Kandinskys russian roots.
