Description
Communication between patients and their carers (nurses, physicians) about pain, especially its location and intensity, can be very challenging in some environments, such as the ICU. The VAT (Visual Analyses Tool) for PAIN has been designed to help make this communication more effective and so improve pain management.
The application features 3D gender-specific body images on which the patients very simply indicate the location and intensity of multiple different sources of pain and discomfort.
The application does not store or collect any private information.
