Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of Indian Mathematics which was rediscovered from the Vedas between 1911 and 1918 by Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji (1884-1960). Sri Bharati Krishna wrote sixteen volumes expounding the Vedic system but these were unaccountably lost and when the loss was confirmed in his final years he wrote a single book: Vedic Mathematics, currently available. It was published in 1965, five years after his death. The term Vedic Mathematics now refers to a set of sixteen mathematical formulae or sutras and their corollaries derived from the Vedas. In der App sind ein paar vedische Regeln erklärt, die würde man allerdings auch kostenlos im Internet finden. Der Großteil der App hat mit vedischer Mathematik wenig zu tun. Mein Vorschlag also: Sparen sie sich das Geld und googeln sie 5 Minuten, da haben sie mehr davon.

Its a pitty so many resist examining this extremely simple and powerful method of mental mathematics. Taught in India and other countries their apparent math supper brains get them the jobs USA graduates cant touch. Remember the "New Math" that was rejected by schools in USA.....THIS ISNT IT! Vedic Math is so simple many educators apparently dont want it.

Only a small fraction of the Vedas are presented here. For the ones included here, the treatment is banal and with quirky explanations. Avoid.
