Other pieces in the collection were discovered at flea markets or yard sales or in attics or basements: people rarely know what they have hidden away. It is time consuming to record and preserve history, but for the curators of this permanent exhibit in Boston’s Fenway area, it is about passion and the desire to share the experience and emotional significance that is expressed in the collection.
