WHAT VERN REMOVES
Vern reads every metadata field embedded in your photo and strips it all — completely and reliably:
• GPS location (latitude, longitude, altitude)
• Device info (make, model, iOS version, serial number)
• Date & time (when the photo was taken)
• Camera settings (focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO)
• Author & copyright fields
• All remaining EXIF, XMP, IPTC, and maker-note fields
The pixel data is untouched. Your photo looks identical — it just carries no hidden information.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Vern and pick one or more photos (or share directly from Photos, Messages, or any other app using the share sheet)
2. Vern reads the metadata and shows you exactly what it found
3. Choose how to proceed:
• Save Copy — strip and save a clean copy to your Photos library
• Save to Album — save the clean copy to a dedicated "Vern" album
• Strip & Share — strip on the fly and hand straight to the share sheet, nothing saved
4. Done. Share with confidence.
