Verse of the Day Your Way comes with the entire King James Version of the Bible so you can use it to read the entire bible one or more verses a day! It also allows you to search the entire bible for a key word and comes with many beautiful backgrounds. Verse of the Day has in app purchases including: Daily Notifications - These work like an alarm clock and will show the verse of the day on the iPhones screen at the selected time even if the app is not running. Use it to wake up or just remind you of the days verse. Expansion Bibles - Unlock your favorite version of the bible so you can study verses from your favorite translation. New Bible translations included for in app purchase: AMP - Amplified Bible ASV - American Standard Version ESV - English Standard Version NASB - New American Standard Bible NIV84 - New International Version (1984) NKJV - New King James Version NLT - New Living Translation The app will show you a new verse to contemplate every day. The verse the app selects is based on three modes. †Random mode – The app selects a random verse from the entire KJV bible. This mode allows you to explore the bible and contemplate verses you may have never read before. †Inspirational mode – The app will select the next verse marked inspirational as the verse of the day. (Please be aware in this mode the app only displays the verses marked inspirational. In addition to showing you a verse every day you can explore more verses before or after the selected verse and share the verses! Just touch Ichthys to go to the settings page. On the settings page there are buttons to: †Search the entire KJV Bible by key word (Red Question Mark) †See the next verse (Blue Right Arrow) or the previous verse (Blue Left Arrow). †See the next chapter(Green Right Arrow) or the previous chapter (Green Left Arrow). †See the next book of the Bible (Red Right Arrow) or the previous book of the Bible(Red Left Arrow). †Mark the verse as inspirational to save it for future contemplation (Heart) or remove the verse from the inspirational group (Red X). †Share the verse with others!
