Description

Version 1.2 is here! Video Snipe is the ultimate stealth video recording app. Take discrete videos with a selection of fake phone screens so no one will know what youre up to. To record a video, touch the screen with your finger while in one of the fake screen modes. Your phone will start recording video. When youre done, you can exit the fake screen by touching the lower corners. FEATURES: - 3 Fake Screen Modes (Fake Dial Pad, Fake Caller Screen, or a completely blank screen) - Full screen touch to begin recording. - Quick video review mode to see the videos youve taken without exiting the app. - Email videos from your photo album. TIP: - Remember to silence your iPhone when using Video Snipe to prevent the camera beeping sound from occurring. Video Snipe is unable to do this for you. This app is meant to be fun. Please respect other individuals privacy and observe all local laws. Stay Away

Mostly worked as advertised (had to touch the screen multiple times to stop recording) for one day. On day two the videos didnt show up in the camera roll. Now Snipe is using up all my available memory and I cant even find the videos to delete.

Great app with 2 problems

The concept of this app is great the function is good too but i have 2 issues. 1: no way to control the flash. Tried to use this app in dim lighting and the flash kept coming on so therefore its not really "stealth". 2: it crashes when switching to the fake screen that you choose. If these 2 things are fixed easily one if the best apps out there.

I agree with the other reviewer. This would be a fantastic "stealth" app if it didnt trigger the flash to come in auto mode under low light conditions. However, if you start out in bright light and go to low light while recording the flash doesnt turn on. So that makes the app semi-stealth. Would be helpful if there was option to totally turn the flash off in a future update to make it more iPhone 4 friendly.

FYI the fake screens will have the word Recording... On the screen. This makes the blank screen the least stealthy as it is the only thing on the screen. The other screens the recording... Text is less noticeable. Oh also know your local laws, recording a conversation can get you in trouble in some states if every party does not know it is being recorded.

This app is useless if it has the phrase "recording" on top of the screen. Please remove this and add a vibrate instead to know when u start recording. The whole point is for it to be completely blank as if the phone was off
