I am disappointed really!

I bought this dictionary mainly because I was interested in learning Vietnamese and I was expecting to find many more Vietnamese words pronounced in it. English seems to be much mor important in this dictionary which is regrettable since there are enough free English dictionary apps with pronouciation, for iPod or iPad, but very few good Vietnamese dictionaries. Moreover, this seems to be mainly a dictionary for technicians or engineers, not for people who really want to study the language. An another flaw of this dictionary are its fonts that are ridiculously too small! how may one expect people to be able to consult such a dictionary with such tiny fonts!? with a magnifying glass perhaps! Anyway...as I already mentioned, I am really disappointed! Francis from Canada

This dictionary is missing a lot of definitions such as cong an (police), hai quan (customs) and ho chieu (passport). Audio pronunciations are in the Northern regional accent only, so no Central or Southern.

This is as good as it gets for the iPad. The sound isnt great, but it works. I had the example sentences checked by a native speaker, she said they mostly sound natural. I tried all the other E-V dictionaries available, and this has the most entries. Get it.
