The Vintage Guitar app combines all that you love about the hardcopy magazine – great features on the best players, bands, and builders, profiles of classic instruments, amps, and effects, in-depth brand and model histories, the industry’s most honest, objective music and gear reviews, and much more – with the portability and convenience of modern handheld technology. The app allows you to see the full content of each issue, with advantages like content search and the ability to zoom in for a detailed look at images. You can also see and hear embedded audio/video clips that directly relate to feature stories and media reviews, plus there’s an interactive advertiser index! -- SUBSCRIPTIONS AVAILABLE -- There are two digital subscription options: One-month subscription for $1.99, automatically renewed until canceled. One-year subscription for $19.99, automatically renewed until canceled. Payment for all purchases will be charged to your iTunes account at the confirmation of your purchase. SUBSCRIBERS’ AUTOMATIC-RENEWAL FEATURE: Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will automatically be charged at the same price for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period (another year for annual subscribers, another month for monthly subscribers, or another six months for six month subscribers) unless you change your subscription preferences in your account settings. You can manage your subscriptions through your Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

Bad app, great magazine

This app is bad. Its like using a website from the early 90s. Thankfully, the Vintage Guitar magazine is an excellent publication.

Digital Vintage Guitar Magazinre, not worth it

I subscribe to several magazines. I find Vintage Guitar Magazine to be an excellent publication. Still, when magazines produce a digital version of their publication it is usually included with the price of the magazine subscription such as Smithsonian or National Geographic. Vintage Guitar Magazinre has three subscription prices, one for the magazine, one for the digital subscription and one discounted price for both. It seems unfair to have to pay for both. I am dumping this app.

App crashing in 8.0.2

App works maybe one time in ten. The rest of the time when I try and read an issue I have downloaded it crashes back the newsstand. Very annoying.

Greetings fellow guitar players, I really like this magazine. its awesome but I got to tell you, I have yet to be able to read any of the digital magazines because the application crashes. Interestingly enough I could not pay for the subscription through the App Store but had pay them directly on their website. Ive contacted them a number of times only to be totally unsatisfied with the way this is all working out. I do have another on online subscription with money magazine. its flawless so I dont quite understand why this one cant work . but nevertheless I am one unhappy customer dont feel like I got any value for my subscription
