Description
Viola Fingers is an aid for learning scales and arpeggios on the viola. It covers all of the scales and arpeggios in the ABRSM syllabus for grades 1 to 5 (including chromatic, harmonic and melodic minors, dominant and diminished sevenths).
A fingerboard graphic is included with each scale giving the recommended finger patterns for the scale. This is presented with the scale itself to allow association of finger pattern and written notation.
Scales can be manually selected within each grade or from a list of all scales. A random scale can also be requested per grade (or from all grades) to simulate exam conditions. The performance of a scale can be rated by the student (or teacher) as a motivational aid and to encourage focusing on scales that need more work.
