This town is ideal for tourists who are looking for old-times tourism, a town that has everything a modern tourist needs but that hasn’t lost its small fishing town charm. Its waterfront is colourful, its beaches are beautiful and its fishermen sell their freshly caught fish early in the mornings on the waterfront, next to a berthed modern yacht. It is located on the north-east of the island, only 12 km away from the main port, Rogač. This small fishing town has only 250 permanent residents that can accommodate around 500 people in commercial accommodation in the summer. If you are arriving to Šolta by boat, Stomorska has berths for 30 boats. Stomorska, with its rustic charm and the hospitality of its local, will win you over instantly.
