Kinderbook is children’s book shop for mobile devices. The books are thoroughly selected, synchronized and illustrated. Some books (and their quantity will be growing) have English text and audio. Also, it’s possible not only to choose Ukrainian or English, but you can combine Ukrainian text and English audio or vise versa. Kinderbook application is the part of the same-name project that creates kids literature library. Artists, editors, translators, programmers, designers, actors and coordinators participate in this project. More than 100 employees from the different countries are working on this project. We are gathering interesting books from all over the world and translate them to Ukrainian and English, synchronize them and add them to the application. Our goal is to gather books from one hundred countries. The books included in the application are for children from 2 to 8. Young readers will get excited about interactive books, children who graduated the first form should read books that contain text not only artwork. We consider that we are making a very important contribution to the world literature and, equally important, we are giving modern children who are using iPad an alternative to computer games and cartoons.
