Plain and simple, this is a fraud. Please let me be the only person this developer ever steals a dollar from -- DO NOT BUY THIS. I was seeking a walkie-talkie app that works over Wi-Fi (not Bluetooth) and does not require Push-To-Talk (PTT). I need a hands-free, always-on voice connection over my own local network. This appeared to fit the bill. I was leery about an app with no reviews, and over the atrocious graphics (possibly the worst iDevice app icon ever, and the interface is equally awful), and I should have followed my gut. The app loads on both devices (iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4th-gen), and (remarkably) they actually recognized each other and appeared to connect. But no sound was ever transmitted in either direction. The purpose of the vertical bars is unclear; I assume theyre supposed to be level meters, but they each remain static at 100%, and of course there is zero documentation at the developers website and no help embedded in the app. A true and complete waste of time and money. And a disappointment from Apple. As an IOS developer myself, I know first-hand what their app-approval process is like, and theres no excuse for letting something like this through. Clearly they never actually tested it.
