The Volcano Updates+ universal app delivers up-to-date news and information about volcanic activity from the United State Geological Survey (USGS), GeoNet (New Zealand) and the Smithsonian Institution. Most reports include an assigned alert level and aviation color code as well as details regarding current activity. Map the selected volcano and share the update via Facebook, Twitter, SMS or email (where supported). The USGS typically releases updates to US-monitored volcanoes once a day or more depending on activity.
