Shorten your transit wait and travel time with FLEX. FLEX is an on-demand, shared-ride public transit service VTA is pilot testing in North San Jose. It connects you between regular transit stops and your home, work or leisure destination. FLEX is super convenient. Use the app to request a pickup from one of many FLEX stops in the area, which shortens or eliminates the distance you have to walk. FLEX automatically routes vehicles to pick up passengers that have similar travel patterns as you while minimizing your travel time. How does it work? • Set your origin and destination and make a request. • FLEX will find the quickest pick-up and drop-off stop for you. • FLEX will show you the shortest walking path from your origin. • Once you get to your drop-off stop, FLEX will show you the shortest walking path to your destination.
