相比常见的电子词典，Vword除了查询单词的含义之外，还将一个单词的变位词（将单词字母打散重组成为另一个单词）、押韵词（按押韵的元音个数分为两音节押韵、三音节押韵、四音节押韵和五音节押韵）、联结词（语义上存在很强关联性的单词）、近义词、反义词一并呈现给用户。
使用搜“本意”功能，可查询到单词的词义、近义词、反义词；用搜“创意”功能，则可以搜索到变位词、押韵词和联结词。
