Walter Hodgson was a soldier in the First World War. In the 1980s he was interviewed about his experiences by his grandson David. These exclusive interviews have been transferred from tape to tablet, making them available to the public in an interactive app.
The app presents original read-along voice recordings and artefacts alongside a thematic history of the war. Featuring animated video resources, photographs, quizzes and activities.
"Walter Hodgson: Voices from the Past" uses nimbl technology to save your activity answers and quiz scores. Once youve downloaded the app, you can access all content including audio offline, giving you the freedom to learn on the go, anytime, anywhere.
