Our goal is simple: instead of spending 20 minutes or close to an hour scavenging the web for "best movies 2018" - we want you to get that instantly, at your fingertips. And maybe, just maybe, with all that extra time get some ice cream for that movie youre about to watch. WatchBuddy is dead simple. When you open the app, we present you with a few movies that you can swipe left or right on, indicating your like or dislike of that movie. Your decisions go through our magic sauce, and then we present you with some recommendations. Done. But wait, theres more! As you browse, save and even click "Watch Now" we learn from you and our algorithms get better at predicting which movies youll love and which you dont want to see. You see, were like that "buddy" (ah we said it!) that knows you so well that you know if you call them, theyll give you a good movie recommendation. The only difference between them and WatchBuddy, is that theyre human and were not... weve seen all the movies, theyve seen only a handful of those available. And though WatchBuddy may not be able to give you a hug like your buddy during a sad movie, youll definitely be yearning to give WatchBuddy a hug the next time it saves you fidgeting on the internet for hours to find your next movie.
