UTMEA
TheTechnical Unit for Environment and Energy Modeling (UTMEA) is an ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development) research initiative to support innovation in environmental management and to develop technologies for a sustainable economic developement. Research activities in the Unit include modeling and observing regional climate systems, designing energy strategies and providing new technologies for the adaptation of infrastructures and human activities to environmental changes with special emphasis on low-carbon society.
Waves UTMEA is an application that make use of the results of a scientific technical activity related to the system "UTMEA-CLIM" prediction of wave motion and other parameters indicative relevant to the Mediterranean Sea. The data are the result of the Research Project on the Electrical System and are routinely produced and made available on a server.
Waves: hourly forecasts of height, period and energy of Mediterranean Sea Waves.
