The West Australian Good Food Guide 2012 is your definitive guide to dining out in WAs restaurants, bars and cafes for only $11.49. Theres been some movement on the Perth dining scene this year and some emerging trends. Kitchen gardens are in. Local producers are definitely in - it seems no chef wants to put interstate protein on a plate unless they absolutely have to. Its all part of the growing locavore movement (buying local) which ties into the international Slow Food theology of underwriting local producers by encouraging them to grow products that chefs just arent prepared to buy from the central markets anymore.
