NOTE: A fix has been submitted to fix the crash on startup with iOS4. The Wheel is a gestational age calculator (also known as a pregnancy wheel) used every day by doctors, obstetricians, midwives, nurses, and pregnant women. The Wheel is the most elegant and functional replacement for those worn cardboard calculators ever developed on ANY computing device. The Wheel easily and accurately determines the estimated delivery date (EDD), or due date, of a pregnancy based on the first day of a womans last menstrual period (LMP). The Wheel also effortlessly calculates an EDD based on a known gestational age (GA) on a known date, e.g. from an ultrasound measurement performed at any time during pregnancy. However, in its primary day-to-day role for healthcare providers who take care of scores of pregnant women, when the EDD is already known, The Wheel simplifies the precise calculation of the gestational age of a fetus anytime during pregnancy in LARGE, easy-to-read characters. AND, The Wheel is the ONLY gestational age calculator that lets you know about the full moon(s) for each month! The Wheel is also internationalized for Spanish, German, Italian, and French versions.

Leider das Geld nicht wert. Keinerlei Zusatzfunktionen, gibt nicht die hier übliche Berechnung an.

Noch unvollständig

Das Programm errechnet zwar, wie beschrieben, das voraussichtliche Geburtsdatum und zeigt an, in welcher Woche man (Frau) sich befindet, ist aber trotzdem noch unvollständig. Es kann nicht unterschieden werden zwischen letztem Tag der Periode und zum Beispiel einer Folikelpunktion mit Embryonentransfer (welches das Datum der Geburt um mehrere Tage nach hinten verschiebt). Außerdem muß man bei jeden Neustart des Programms das Datum der letzten Periode neu angeben. Man kann also nicht einfach das Programm starten und sehen, in welcher Woche + Tag die Schwangerschaft ist. Vielleicht kommt da ja mal ein Update.

Dont purchase The Wheel app if you are a physician who practices obstetrics. It does not allow you to determine EDC by ultrasound measurements and so is not that helpful. The Wheel SP version does provide additional features which include US determination of EDC.
