Description
Most well-known logic puzzle of the last century. The task of the riddle is as follows: there are 5 houses in a row. People of 5 nationalities live in them. Each of the 5 inhabitants keeps a certain pet, drinks a beverage and smokes a brand of cigarettes. Having 15 rules your goal is to solve the riddle and find out everything about the people.
It seems quite simple at first sight. But it is sometimes claimed that if you can solve this riddle without different items (including pen and paper) your intellectual nature can be considered as part of 2% of the most intelligent people on earth.
If you can not solve the riddle on your own, why not try this application. We offer a user-friendly interface for visualization of logical reasoning.
Before you start the game, please read carefully the following statements which may be useful for you:
- A double-click on the item will highlight it. It will help you mark the items in the right positions from all those you are not sure of;
- You can cross out any of the rules in the list by clicking them. It will help you sort the verified rules out from unverified while doing the puzzle;
- Getting the tip please be aware that the item will be placed in the house of the proper color but the house itself may be located in the wrong position relative to the others;
- As soon as all the items and houses are in the right positions you will get a notification and the game is over;
