The best wikipedia front end

… but yet not perfect. Still, its a good way to surf wikipedia without using a web browser: easy to read, nice interface with some interesting functions (like the index of the article at the bottom), search directly from the menu bar… I hope the dev will read this since I would like him/her to add some functions like: The ability to change the font of articles text The ability to download full sized image directly from the app (for now you have to copy the link and go to the browser) Fixed width for the articles (there are stylish -the add-on for firefox- scripts that do that for instance) Otherwise, it deserves 4 stars for the overall experience :)

Je la trouve vraiment pas mal du tout simple et efficace ! une petite icone de recharge dans la barre des taches on a acces a wikipedia en permanence ! son plus elle est fluide legere gratuite et sans pub ! à tester et surement a adopter ! il y a des améliorations à apporter avec le temps mais pour le prix elle est formidable ! je recommande !!!

Diese App bietet wirklich alles was man für Wikipedia braucht. Es hat ein super schönes Design und Hintergrundfarbe kann angepasst werden. Hatte vorher Wikibot aber das Design is mir zu hässlich…..

Fast perfekt. Integriert sich voll in alle Arbeitsabläufe. Alles funktioniert und ist leicht bedienbar. Perfekt wäre das Programm, wenn man die Lesezeichen (bookmarks) noch in Gruppen unterteilen könnte, weil man dann für den jeweils aktuellen Zweck Recherchen machen und konservieren könnte.

Praktisch, aber mit Luft nach oben

Bzgl. Darstellung der Seiten und vor allem von Bildern und Tabellen ist dieses Programm erheblich besser als Wikibot, welches ich bisher genutzt habe (Version 1.5). Allerdings erwarte ich von einem Programm, was in erster Linie der Darstellung fremder Inhalte dient, ein bißchen mehr "Luxus". So vermisse ich: - Bookmarks in Ordnern organisisern - Bookmarks via iCloud/Dropbox zwischen mehreren Geräten synchronisieren, zumal eine keine Import/Export Funktion für die Bookmarks gibt (in dem Zusammenhang wäre eine iPhone Version auch eine sinnvolle Ergänzung) - Caching der Inhalte für den Offline-Betrieb. Ansonsten macht es was solch ein kleines Tool eben machen soll und das optisch ansprechend.

No way to increase the font size. That makes this app useless for me.
