Description

WikiPal World has over 540,000 worldwide Wikipedia/Wikivoyage geocoded places in its database. You can browse wiki places around your current location or around a selected location. You can also be notified when you are in range (proximity) of any place that is of the type specified by your selected place categories. WikiPal World iOS 9 features include 3d maps of select cities, 3d touch so you can quickly access places nearby and Spotlight search for quick access to over 7000 featured locations worldwide. WikiPal World includes a watch app extension. The watch extension displays the 15 closest places to you. Information displayed by the watch app includes the name and distance to the place, map, driving and walking directions, and the place category. WikiPal World may be used offline. While offline (out of cellular or wifi range), proximity notifications, wiki places, watch app, and offline stored maps are available. Driving/walking directions, street view, and article text are only available when connected to the Internet.
