WikiPlaces is the best way to access Wikimapia.org - a collaborative mapping project with the aim to describe every location in the world. It currently has over 25 million places annotated all over the world, many of which are also with detailed descriptions, photos and user comments. You will be amazed how much interesting and surprising you will learn about places you seemed to know! = FEATURES = * View user comments and photos that provide even more information * Search by Wikimapia place name, ID or address * Bookmarks for places and arbitrary locations * "Classic" visual style for old school Wikimapia fans * Touch and hold any location on the map to see its address, coordinates, or share * WikiPlaces is ad-supported, advertisement can be removed via In App Purchase = NOTICE = WikiPlaces loads data directly from Wikimapia.org using public API. If you do not see Wikimapia overlays, then most likely something is wrong on Wikimapia side. We kindly ask you to report such temporary problems to [email protected] instead of app reviews.

Ich fand die App super, da immer wenn ich den Kartenauschnitt verschoben habe, immer sofort die Orte rot umrandet wurden. Aber seit dem letzten Update von heute funktioniert dass leider nicht mehr so gut. Denn jetzt muss man immer erst den Ort suchen und dann wird er erst umrahmt. Dafür lohnt sich die App eigentlich nicht! Denn so weiß man nie wo vielleicht was interessantes ist und wo nicht! Also bitte bald ein neues update bringen, mit dieser "alten" Funktion. Der Rest ist aber super!!

Mehr entdecken als die Standard POI! interessant wäre es noch Markierungen mit weiteren Informationen gesondert zu kennzeichnen

I have been trying to understand where the ancient monuments in Rome where located. This App has all the information and a lot more! I love it! And the support is incredible! Fast and compent!
