Description

WinBid helps airline pilots and flight attendants manage their trips/pairings. WinBid automatically downloads and stores all your airline’s pairings off-line. ** Supports ONLY the following airlines **: - AA pilots and flight attendants • Double-click on any trip pairing to view the full pairing. • Save pairings and notes to My Schedule feature • Automatically add passenger loads from Travel Planner to scheduled pairings • Everything can be printed, and/or saved as PDF • Edit pairings to add/remove legs or duty periods - then export the edited pairings to iTunes for inclusion in WinBid Pairings 2 for iPhone. • Import pairings from DECS (or download the entire base/aircraft for the month). • Logbook for airline flying (includes FAR 117 reporting) • Support for FFDO activity reports • Scheduled pairings and logbook shared with WinBid Pairings 2 on iPhone, and WinBid Schedule on iPad • No charge for monthly downloads • Does not include access into CATCREW, however contact us for our free CATCREW for OS X app. Requirements: • Internet connection (for downloading monthly lines/pairing packages only)

Great Program

East Pilot Under 40! · 13 years ago

I have been waiting for this program to be available for Mac users, and my wait is now over. Does everything it promises. I cant wait for the update to add secondary lines. Awsome app, works great. Hurry up apple, and get the updates out!

I cannot recommend this program. Not user friendly, and the program locks up when I attempt to add a trip to the calendar. In small print you will find that you cannot connect to catcrew to enter your monthly bids. There are some possitive attributes like not having to tote around the bid package, but this in not the winbid you have used over the years. It takes getting used to and does not have near the options that the windows version has, and I have been a long time user of the windows version.

Program locks up. The description shows crew members names added to pairings printout but found out later not applicable to MAC

Helpful but with no way to save your work

This application is helpful in sorting out lines but it has a data security issue - this app doesn’t seem to save your data in the background and/or there is no way to save your work manually like in other professionally written apps. I have experienced this app crash a couple of times already and found out when I restarted it that hours of my work was lost completely. Or maybe its that it wrote the data onto the disk but it did not close the record every time and therefore the loss. Who knows. In any event, I recommend users to print out the their pick lists every time they change it until they do something about this issue. Or hours of your work can be lost. Can you afford that especially when your deadline is very close?
