These files are in “TNEF” format, and usually contain attachments such as spreadsheets or presentations embedded within them. WinDat Opener extracts the embedded attachments hidden inside the winmail.dat file, allowing you to open them with another application, e.g., Pages. WinDat Opener is simple to use - it integrates transparently with macOS. All you have to do is to either drag-and-drop the winmail.dat file onto WinDat Opener, or just double-click the file. WinDat Opener then extracts the embedded attachments, allowing you to save them, or to open them in another application. WinDat Opener automatically preserves important file metadata such as file creation and modification times.

Enfin je peux ouvrir un .doc contenu dont mon .dat aprés avoir acheté winmail extractor qui lui ne le fait pas mon dat comprenait du doc, ppt, pps, xls, gif et htm tout ouvert !! Je recommande Windat

Je confirme que les pièces jointes portant lextension .dat et que je narrivais pas à lire sur mon Mac Book Air peuvent grâce à cette app être extraitent, lues, et sauvegardées. Fort simple à utiliser : glisser-déplacer depuis le mail jusque sur licône de lapp.

Until now the only Windat file opener that works 100%

I have tried and even purched other Windat File openers, but this program proved to be the best on available. It opened 100% of the Windat files I have received so far, being able to extract both the e-mail message (intact) and the attached files (mostly PDF files). I am running on OS X El Capitan 10.11.5

Folgende Funktionen funktionieren nicht: * Öffnen der Datei durch Doppelklick oder CTRL-Klick * Auslesen von Kontakten Das Öffnen gelingt ausschließlich mit Drag&Drop.

Aus MS Outlook heraus können sich über ein weiteres Fenster problemlos alle Anhänge wie Excel, Word und PPT in Yosemite geöffnet werden. Absolut problemlos und easy.
