Fascinated by fashion and following trends since a child, Chammas entered the Michaelange School for Fashion Design in the late 80s and began to benefit from practical efforts while studying.
Advancing the bulk of his skill in Italian haute couture workshops, Chammas then came back East and worked at Kuwaits most famous design house for three years.
At the start of the millennium, Chammas was producing his very own fashion show lines after having established his personal mode and private factory in Lebanon.
Received with high regard by the charting press and the Lebanese society, Chammas once again traveled through the region staging his realizations.
Selecting a distinctive form that harmonizes the dress`s cut and impact with each woman`s body and character, Chammass is pieces transcribe a seamless balance within every element.
For his wedding gown collections, Wissam identifies the obscurities that face the bride, eliminating the unnerving constraints of the big day through his refined, modern and comfortable dresses.
His laudable line of wedding dresses is called Hamasatuky, meaning whispers.
Chammas explains that the brides words and thoughts are whispered and conveyed through his creation, hence acts as a translator of the brides feelings through his work.
Elaborating the sensations of expediency and comfort, Chammas designs his detailing embroidery in undertones of maturity, allowing for the dress to drift and flow. Needless to say, Wissam Chammas also has adept skill in practical and well-designed accessories such as hairpieces, bags and shoes.
