Amazing first game! Its clear that a lot of work has been put into this game. The visuals & style, the gameplay & mechanics, and the story all compliment each other greatly. Keep it up :)

If you like the screenshots, youll love the game.

This is one of the best games available in the Mac App Store. Great visual design and animation combined with solid gameplay.

Charming!

I bought this for the retro-nostalgia, but kept on playing for the surprisingly deep controls and level design. Worth the price? Absolutely!

Addictive and really well-executed.

From the second I turned it on and started playing, Ive been hooked. The game itself is simple but there are some interesting mechanics that get thrown in with the magic, powerup and money elements and you feel like youre playing a lot more than a dressed-up Breakout (which wouldnt be that bad anyway). Even though youre playing through a game that feels pretty familiar in certain ways, you definitely get some really satisfying things thrown into the mix to keep you locked in. Solid controls, great 16-bit style graphics and a huge whiff of nostalgia for golden era gaming down to the tinny sound effects and humorous dialogue from the NPCs. The level of quality reminds me of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World -- super stylish but with great gameplay to back it up. Definitely worth it!
