I purchased WNBA league pass but this year the streaming is very slow and often stalls. I have an extremely fast internet and all my other streaming apps work just fine, so I think it is on the WNBA end.
App is a toss-up...
The LiveAccess/Center Court App offers basic functionality for convenient live and on-demand viewing of WNBA games. Needs ongoing improvements in production quality, performance (streaming is slow and jagged), and enabling viewing across multiple owned devices under same-paid account. I had access issues attempting to switch between my iPad and iPhone. Despite using same sign-in, it attempted to require me to pay for an additional account. Also needs a more responsive issue resolution process and should provide disclaimer that some televised games are blacked out/inaccessible. App has been in release several years: should aggressively make improvements going forward regarding usability and bugs (sound dropping out, paid account not recognized on sign-in,home page, etc.). Could be a great App but still in training.
Not as Advertised
Watching on MacBookPro. I thought 2015 was bad but its worse now in 2016. At the most crucial part of games the DL freeze like when there is less than 1 minute in a game with a tied score. Why arent all games available, as advertised. Tonight I cant watch WAS/CON game. Its on ESPN3 which I dont get. This App was suppose to solve that issue. For 2016 we paid to get less. Go figure.
Worst app ever
Doesnt even have schedule. If game is sold to cable or local network even at a late date you are blacked out. Very few games can actually be watched. Not worth the price!
WNBA WH
I cant fathom why no reviews! The app is great, all site content free. I check in daily to get the latest news, compare stars & stats, view highlights, videos, skeds, check WNBA social media, and I watch my games live via my League Pass subscription--which is STILL an incredible bargain at $15 for ALL the teams, ALL the games, for the ENTIRE SEASON. Update makes the app even better and thanx for adding "favorite team" notifications, which Ive been waiting for--go New York Liberty! The only feature Id like to see added is the ability to choose "favorite players" and follow on the app & also receive notifications {for things like being named Player of the Week, Top Plays, Injury Report, Assist of the Night, Milestones Reached, and more}. Please add this feature, and the WNBA app will be perfect.
Cant rewind live game
My main problem with this app is that you cant rewind during a live game, unlike using the web site on a Mac. So if you start a game late, either you miss the beginning of the game or you wait until the game is completely over.
Always in a blackout area
The league pass for a single team is affordable, but most games are blacked out. Disappointing for those of us who dont have cable tv.
