a bit misleading

it is not clear i believe in this description that this is strictly an audio recording of the book. there is a clear book symbol as well as audio with bookmark capability so i assumed mistakingly that this was also the BOOK. the "book" is merely an INTERVIEW with estes by soundstrue.

Should have listened to the post before mine. I have a brand new iPad 3, and nothing comes through the speakers. Bummer.

Great listen. Auto lock set to "never"

If I set my auto lock to meet on my phone then it will play and keep playing. Its a great listen.

Disappointing

While the content of this app is excellent the app itself is horrible. The audio constantly crashed and resets itself back to the beginning of the chapter. Its completely unusable.

Although the book is a phenomenal read and the voice used in this audio version is impeccable, it is only a snippet of the book. It is not worth the $12+. I could pick up the book and read the table of contents to obtain the information that was presented. This is false advertising.

Abbreviated, but still sooooo relevant

I agree with the review stating that this recording is not a full reflection of the timeless book. However, I have had this for about two years and saved it on my ipad. I am so thankful because in listening to it a second time (I have read the book twice in my lifetime), its like a booster shot on the fly, still healing, and resonating. Get it. Listen to it. Save it for later. You will need it!
