Description
Word Board is a tool that kids can use to practice their sight words. Tap on a word and the app will say it out loud. Theres also a text box where you can form a phrase and have it read back to you.
The app uses the Dolch word list (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolch_word_list), which contains common words found in childrens books. Shorter words, like "me", "no", and "it" are sorted to the top of the list. Kids love to create, so maybe they can get some reading practice while making silly phrases.
Here are some ideas of how to use the app:
• Tap to listen to commonly used words
• Form phrases and hear it read back to you
• Save names or phrases, and they appear at the top of the word board
