Description

Word Smith is a word-finding puzzle that is highly entertaining. With it you can improve your concentration, spelling and vocabulary skills easily. Valid words boost your score and the dwindling timer; used letters disappear and new ones drop down from above. Features: - 3 dictionaries included with many thousands of words in each: English, German, and Spanish .You can switch the dictionary via the games "Language" dialog. - 5 game modes: "Normal", "Hard", "Lightning", "Relax" and "Untimed" - Local and global daily leaderboards - 3 board sizes; "S", "M" and "L". Das Spiel ist sehr gut, nur der Wortschatz ist manchmal verwirrend - deutsche Wörter sind unbekannt, englische Wörter zum Teil bekannt

Einmal angefangen hört man ungern wieder auf. Einziges Manko ist der manchmal nicht ganz nachvollziehbare Wortschatz. Einige deutsche Worte werden nicht anerkannt. Der englische Wortschatz ist sehr eingeschränkt. Aber ansonsten haben sowohl mein Sohn (9 Jahre) als auch ich unseren Spaß.

Mir gefällt die App total. Man spielt gegen die Zeit und muss möglichst lange Wörter bilden. Damit erweitert man seinen Wortschatz,regt die grauen Zellen an und es macht dann auch noch spaß. Beim Ipad 1 ruckelt es manchmal leicht und es wäre gut wenn die Markierung etwas überarbeitet werden würde. Manchmal werden schnelle Markierungen nicht angenommen weil es zu schnell geht. Man muss also immer sehr langsam die Buchstaben markieren, damit es funktioniert. Das ist aber nur eine Kleinigkeit. Die App ist super und bietet alles was man braucht und das auch noch gratis obendrein.

Nettes Spiel mit Suchtfaktor. Leider viele Abstürze der App. Das Wörterbuch sollte ausgebaut werden!
