Description

Words Play builds on the long tradition of word construction games, both on traditional boards, and on computers and phones. Youre given a rack of 7 letters, and you place them on the board to create words. Play continues with each player taking a turn, until all the games tiles have been exhausted. Use logic and cunning to place longer, more valuable words, and lock in the special squares in the board. - Familiar word building game play - Play friends, or auto-match a random opponent - Optional adaptive AI player, for an added challenge - Play across all your iDevices (universal app) - See an unfamiliar word? Touch it to bring up the in-app dictionary - Uses the latest Game Center features - Earn achievements, increase your vocabulary For Online-play, Words Play requires a (free) Game Center account (you can set this up right on your iPhone or iPad). Also make sure you have Game Center notifications turned on, or games wont update as frequently.

A very well executed word game. It looks great and it is very smooth to use. The dictionary lookup is a fabulous feature.

My new go to word game

Im a self professed word game nut and I love this game so much its now my new go to word game. Unique style, smooth play, and lots of little nuances. You can tell that its a labor of love from the developer. Its a great download and well worth the minimal cost. Highly recommended.

Great game! Love that it shows definitions of words and that it has play history.

The game cheats

I like the game but I dont like the fact that the game cheats when I play against the computer (makes up words, rejects my words that are in the scrabble dictionary).

This app was already so much nicer than Words with Friends, but now it has chat. Awesome app.
