Description
It’s the hundredth anniversary of The Great War. There should be an app for that.
World War I Live presents notifications on your phone when something interesting happened a hundred years ago. It’s like you were living then, but with your iPhone or iPad.
In addition to news of the war we’ll include other bits of information that might be of interest (Panama Canal opening, Irish Independence, etc.).
We are planning several updates this year. If you have information you think we should include, you can email us right from the app.
Note to Educators: Looking for a way to get your students really involved in history? Check our website for info. Your students could be looking through old newspapers and be involved in a real project.
We currently have more upgrades planned for this year with more events.
