Description
This is a working detailed 3D-Simulation of a U-Boat compass used on German Type VII U-Boats during World War 2.
This App uses artwork from the upcoming mobile submarine simulation "WOTA: Wolves of the Atlantic“ and was developed in cooperation with the Technical Museum U 995 of the German Naval Association. In addition, the app comes with a short animated tour detailing the compass installations aboard Type VII submarines.
Features:
- Compass assisted by the gyroscope.
- High resolution 360° panorama of U 995’s command room. Take a virtual look around by moving your device.
- Look at the compass from different angles by moving your device (lockable). Use pinch to zoom gesture to resize it.
- Animated information tour with 3D models of a Type VII U-Boat and its command room.
- Choose your compass case color: Black, Gray, Brass or Transparent.
- Outer (360°) and inner (10°) compass ring, just like on a typical naval compass.
- Angle of List indicator.
- Rate of Turn indicator.
- Speedometer (requires built-in GPS.)
- Latitude and longitude (requires built-in GPS or Wi-Fi network connection.)
- Different units (knots, km/h, mph, ROT per second or per minute.)
Important: like all compass apps, this app is based on the built-in compass chip. Please don’t use this app for critical applications like real world navigation

Excelente!
Recomendável para todo fã da história de Segunda Guerra mundial. Principalmente para quem é fã de filmes como Das Boot ou de jogos de simulação de submarinos como Silent Hunter.

Phänomenal
Hätte nie gedacht, dass ich mal einen Kompass als beeindruckend bezeichne. Hier ist es aber mehr als angebracht. Unfassbar wie und mit welcher Qualität man in die ganzen Details reinzoomen kann. Und als Kompass zeigt er dabei natürlich auch noch auch die Richtung an ;-)
Faszinierender compass mit viel Liebe zum Detail
Sehr detailliert und mit viel Liebe gemacht. Zudem mit interessanter 3 D Perspektive im Kommandoraum eines UBoots Man kann sich auch auf eine animierte Tour mit Erklärung des Kompass ausserhalb des getauchten Boots und später im innern begeben. Freue mich schon auf die U Boot app , die dieses Jahr wohl erscheinen wird- wota
Viel Fleiß im Detail
Auch wenn ich eine weitere Kompass App so nötig gebraucht hätte wie ein "Loch im Kopf" und ich auch nicht unbedingt U-Boot affin bin, muss ich sagen: Eine tolle App! Sehr detailliert, sowohl der Kompass als auch der Hintergrund, einfach klasse gemacht!

Hoffe das erweitert das Startkapital um der WOTA App zur Finalisierung zu verhelfen.
