XA1 Lite is a realtime spectrum analyzer for the iPhone and iPod Touch. XA1 Lite is made to give realtime feedback of the audio spectrum, so when mixing or doing other audio related work, XA1 Lite will help you with a visible reference for your sound. XA1 Lite works with the build-in microphone on the iPhone, 1st generation iPhone only support 8kHz samplerate on the build-in mic. Headset with microphone or line in via headset connector (AV type cable needed) on the iPhone and 2nd generation iPod Touch. XA1 Lite FEATURES: - 1/3 octave filters. - 30 bands. - Very low latency. - Listen to selected band. - RMS mode. - Peak hold always on. - Gain fixed at 10db. - Range fixed at 30db. - Fixed release time. Compare with XA1 FEATURES: - 1/3, 1/6, 1/12 octave filters. - 30 or 60 bands. - Very low latency. - Key mode, 5 octave keyboard, filters tuned to musical intervals. - Listen to selected band. - RMS/Peak mode - Peak hold on/off - Filter bandwidth adjustment. - Gain 0-50db in 10db steps. - Range 15, 30, 45, 60db - Variable release time. nach dem Update läuft XA1 Lite nun auch problemlos unter iOS 5. Freue mich über den netten und schnellen Support des Herstellers. Der schönste (meiner Meinung nach auch schnellste und beste) Realtime Audio Analyzer im App-Store. So weit ich weiß ist es auch der einzige, der nicht auf FFT sondern auf hier überlegenen Bandpass-Filtern basiert.

Anche se in versione "lite", è abbastanza completa (le limitazioni sono "accettabili"). Utile solo con microfono interno. Per collegarlo in "line-in" serve un jack sempre da 3,5 ma con poli speciali. Una stella invece per la versione "full": 129euro sono unesagerazione!!! Atenza [)(]

Fate attenzione alle caratteristiche della versione lite rispetto alla pro, perchè non ha veramente niente, non si può regolare neanchè il livello dingresso. Lapplicazione è praticamente inutilizzabile per lavorare. Acquistare la versione pro a quel prezzo è una follia. meglio scegliere altro, davvero deluso.

Always useful on the fly when a troublesome frequency takes off during a live show, or just for ringing out monitors before the band hits the stage. A good bit more accurate on the very highs and very lows when using an external mic, but one of the best tools available even using the internal mic.

This app has been the flagship application in my audio arsenal. The one this that this app has over others is that it functions in real time where as others like this have a delay. I recommend this to everyone. Please know that it has issues on iOS 5 with startup. Check to see that theyve updated to iOS 5 before purchasing.

All Markss apps horrible,never updated & rip off for price

Subject line says it all. Look at last date any of his iOS apps have been updated for newer iOS operating system (hint: no need to look, none of his apps have been updated in many years). No way to export results of any of Marks iOS apps and vastly better other audio analyzer apps exist for the very high cost of Marks asking for his audio (over priced) apps.
