Description
Yachtter Weather is an application for iOS devices such as an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to view weather information. Yachtter Weather works with a DMK Box to display data collected by Airmar WeatherStations®. (Furuno has also relabeled some of these products such as the PB200.) The DMK Box uses Wi-Fi to forward the data from a NMEA2000 or NMEA0183 connection to the iOS device where it is displayed via charts and graphs in Yachtter Weather . If you boat network is connected to the Internet, you can view the weather information anywhere in the world*.
Virtually all information such as wind, temperature, pressure, speed and location produced by the Airmar WeatherStations may be viewed in Yachtter Weather in an intuitive visual representation of the data. On an iPhone, a tabbed interface grouped common data together for easy viewing. On an iPad multiple windows can be easily switched between to view the information.
If you don’t have a DMK Box installed on your boat, you can also use Yachtter Weather using Yachtter Server running on a Windows PC. Yachtter Server requires an Actisense NGT-1 to connect the PC to the NMEA 2000 bus via USB.
*Remote Internet control typically requires additional network configuration.
